The Massachusetts Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (MassPRC) will host a training that will examine a definition of trauma created by a survivor of extreme traumatic experience. The training will provide an in-depth exploration of the three core elements of traumatic experience: helplessness, hopelessness, and horror/terror. Additionally, it will take a look at institutional trauma, and how organizations can help or harm, and how harmful systems are sometimes sustained over time.
