Mental wellness and suicide among older adults are important public health issues in the Greater Boston area especially during times of social isolation or disruption. Suicide attempts by older adults are much more likely to result in death than among younger persons and impact not only individuals and families but entire communities.

Join us for a discussion on these topics between our Coalition members and partners who have found creative ways to address the four pillars of resiliency: mental, physical, social and spiritual that we know lead to greater mental health and prevent suicide during turbulent times. You will have much to learn from their efforts and will enjoy the opportunity to ask questions during our time together. Please also bring your own story and processes found helpful to this important and timely conversation.
