On Tuesday, July 15, the Health Equity Compact’s priority legislation — An Act to Advance Health Equity — will be heard at the State House. This is a critical moment for all of us to push back and demand better for our communities.
Take Action:
- July 15 - Show up at the MA State House & invite others.
- 8:30am: Arrive at the front steps in professional or organizational attire. Bring signs, or use one we provide.
- 9-9:30am: Go through security and find your seat.
- 10am: Hearing begins in Gardner Auditorium.
- By July 18 - Submit Testimony after the hearing.
- Use this testimony template, if you like. Add personal stories, relevant data, and explain why this bill matters to your organization, sector, or community. Your unique perspectives and insights are crucial!
