H.984/S.631, An Act relative to access to care for serious mental illness, H.941, An Act relative to utilization review, and S.677, An Act relative to prescription drug utilization review prohibit step therapy and/or prior authorization requirements to ensure people can access the medications that they need.

MAMH provides written testimony in support of these bills, which would prevent people with severe and disabling mental health conditions from having to go through utilization management requirements that hinder their access to medication regimes that support their recovery.
